Liberator Fascinator Throe Review

Recently I wrote a review on the Lelo Sona and mentioned how it caused my partner to soak the sheets… this wasn’t a problem the first time. Or the second, but after the third night, I had to do something!

We couldn’t continue stripping the entire bed to wash the sheets every night. I did a bit of research and found a couple of solutions, the most notable being the Liberator Fascinator Throe.

 

If you’ve been a TugBro user for any amount of time, you may have noticed that we absolutely love Liberator products, and most of their furniture is made with a water-resistant material. The Fascinator Throe is the same way, and we were quickly spoiled on it. I’ve noticed this is highly coveted among other sex toy bloggers, so I was ecstatic to get my hands on it. Fascinator Throe – First Impressions

As with all of Liberator’s products, this arrived in a discreet box and was packaged beautifully. There is tasteful photography on the side of the product packaging that features models writing on the Throe in ecstasy. It comes in a range of colors including black, purples, reds, browns, etc. It is microfiber on one side, while the other side is silky satin. There is a moisture-proof barrier (not unlike the material they use on their furniture) between the two layers, making it waterproof. 

The Throe I got measures 72 inches long and 54 inches wide, but there is a bigger version that comes in at 76 inches long and 80 inches wide. Despite its large size, it is lightweight and perfect for getaways, it looks like a regular blanket so no one would be the wiser. I have left ours out and no one had any idea what it’s true purpose is.

We use ours for everything from sexy time to cuddling up with popcorn and a good movie. The versatility of this throw is astounding and I cannot believe how long we went without having one!

 

In Use

Speaking of its true purpose, let’s get down to how it does in bed. As soon as it got here, and my partner got home (she insisted I wait for her), we took it out of the box, stripped down, and cuddled up in it. It felt so comfortable – like heaven against our skin. Both sides are very nice and we could have spent the entire night just wrapped up in it, but that wouldn’t make for a very good review.

The Fascinator Throe by Liberator is very versatile and can be used in tons of ways, not just to catch my girl’s pleasure. The fluffy side is great for a warm and snuggly backdrop to our sexy times, while the silkier side provides a slippery and sensual surface for us to slide across in the heat of the moment.

We have a queen-sized bed and the Throe by Liberator coves it very well, and we have used it as a regular blanket. That being said, it does provide a large area of protection against bodily fluids and lube when thrown over our bed or sofa.

It feels amazing against the skin and we love rolling up in it when we use it during a romp. It is also a great way to keep our Liberator furniture in place and protect our floors when we use our other Liberator products. The material helps to keep the furniture in place and provides a place for any squirting or leftover lube.

And when we are done having our fun, it’s as simple as folding up the Throe by Liberator and tossing it into the washing machine. The best part of the Liberator Fascinator Throe is that it can be an accent piece and no one has a clue as to what it actually is or it can be quickly thrown down to catch any fluids during sexy time. The ease of washing it only adds to the appeal and I have quickly fallen in love with this Liberator must-have.

Cleanup & Maintenance

As with all Liberator products, clean up with the Fascinator Throe is incredibly simple. Once we have finished having our fun, we simply roll up the Throe, to contain any mess, and toss it into the washing machine. It is advised that you wash it with cold water, but I haven’t had any issues with washing it using hot water.

When the washer has run its course, you can tumble dry it on low, please note that this does take a while because of the size and heat restriction. On warmer days, we do let our throw air dry on the clothesline. As for storage, we just use ours to decorate the foot of our bed and no one has any idea what it really is.

 

Final Thoughts

 

There isn’t really much to say about the Throe, other than to rave about its beauty, functionality, and comfort. Like with every Liberator product we have tried, the Throe adds a level of luxury to our sex and the versatility makes it the perfect item to splurge on.

While it isn’t cheap, it is worth every penny. The Liberator Fascinator Throe is fantastic quality and cheaper versions feel like rolling around on a shower curtain. This is the perfect purchase if you’re looking for luxury, versatility, and discretion. It blends into our bedroom decor that I have 0 worries about anyone asking questions and it provides enough coverage for almost any scenario – from sex to just cuddling.

I cannot recommend the Fascinator Throe by Liberator enough for people who like thick throws, silky blankets, or who need a waterproof system that is also comfortable. If you don’t like velvet-like sensations, need something a specific size, or prefer lightweight throws, this may not be a good purchase for you. Otherwise, what are you waiting for!
