That’s right universe, this is Earth’s very best male offering. At least according to GQ Magazine. Paul Rudd is the man of the year and rock dinosaur Keith Richards became a legend at the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2015 last night. Remember, it’s not official until GQ gives you a cheap award as confirmation.
Sam Smith won artist of the year on the same day he also announced he will be singing the official theme tune for the upcoming James Bond movie ‘Spectre’. Which means anyone who goes to see the new Bond film in theaters will probably fall asleep before the end of the opening credits.
Elsewhere, model David Gandy was named Most Stylish Man – because a model who is dressed by stylists and gets his clothes, hair and shoes taken care of for free clearly deserves to be awarded. And Star Wars director / soon to be nerd God J.J Abrams took out the Cultural Icon of the Year award.
The only other award worth mentioning went to Game of Thrones and Terminator: Genisys actress Emilia Clarke who was honored with the Woman of the Year award, which should just be called what it really is; ‘The famous chick our readers would most like to plow’ award.
